  • VPS 5.1 $113,022 – $124,884 (VPS EA 3% salary increase effective 1/5/2025) + 10% composite allowance + super

Reporting to the Manager – Investigations, the role will provide leadership and technical guidance to Intelligence Analysts within a multi- disciplinary team environment to inform proactive or investigative lines of enquiry.Duties include:

  • Positively influence and drive innovation and developments within the field of Intelligence.
  • Contribute to Intelligence business planning and policy development to support business outcomes including evolving organisational priorities.
  • Manage information collection and handling within guidelines and relevant legislation.
  • Undertake research and complex analysis utilising a range of information systems, analytical software and intelligence sources to support investigations and projects.

  • Possess contemporary knowledge related to the collection, collation, evaluation, analysis and controlled dissemination of information in respect to complex investigations and operations.
  • Formal qualifications and/or training in Intelligence or a related field.
  • Significant experience working in law enforcement and/or relevant experience in an intelligence or law enforcement environment.
  • Demonstrated high level written and verbal skills in policy and report writing, analysis and briefing.
