Reporting to the Manager – Prevention Policy & Research, the role will primarily focus on strategic policy development, responsible for research and report writing in response to contemporary and emerging corruption and police misconduct issues and risks.Duties include:

  • Prepare high-quality authoritative reports and develop appropriate recommendations for policy, system or practice change to assist corruption prevention.
  • Undertake research and complex analysis across a range of information systems.
  • Provide analysis and advice to senior management on the policy and strategic implications of initiatives and proposals.
  • Plan and manage projects on policy and research issues and ensure project objectives are met in a timely way.

  • Policy skills – highly developed research, conceptual and analytical skills demonstrated in the development, analysis and resolution of complex policy issues.
  • Demonstrated high level written and verbal skills in policy and report writing, analysis and briefing.
  • Experience in public sector operating environments and a tertiary qualification are desirable.
