Job description: About the Role:

- 12 months casual contract with full time working hours
- Monday to Friday with standard working hours
About your duties:
- Management of samples, critical reagents
- Receiving clinical and non-clinical samples
- Ensuring samples are receipted checked and input into systems
- Cataloguing minus 80 freezers
- Cataloguing in online inventory systems
- Conducting inventory checks
- Participate in internal and external audits as required
- Take responsibility for ensuring that incoming deliveries of materials into the facility are properly labelled and registered in the systems.
- Take responsibility for picking and returning samples for testing
About you:
- 2-3 yrs of experience in a similar role
- Experience with LIMS, Microsoft office
- Strong attention to detail, multitasker
- Appreciation of data integrity requirements and lab management systems
- Strong digital skills – able to learn new systems quickly
- Excellent organisational, communication, problem solving skills
- Self-motivated individual
