Supporting the property law team, you will work closely with and support up to Partner level with all legal admin duties. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Drafting and proofreading correspondence, contracts, and legal documents;
- Managing key dates and deadlines related to settlements and property transactions;
- Filing and maintaining client records, contracts, and other legal documentation;
- Liaising with clients, real estate agents, mortgage brokers, and government agencies;
- Assisting with due diligence, ensuring compliance with relevant property laws;
- Responding to client inquiries regarding property transactions; and
- Assisting with lodgement of documents with the Titles Office and State Revenue Office.
ABOUT YOU
To succeed in this role, you will have demonstrated experience as a Legal Assistant in Property. Additionally, you will possess:
- Proficiency in using the PEXA system;
- Experience handling incoming calls and assisting with enquiries;
- Strong diary management skills and the ability to coordinate travel arrangements;
- Expertise in organising meetings and conferences; and
- Knowledge of billing processes and time sheet recording.
