You could be one of our 3100 committed team members who are up to the challenge.About the roleAs the Head of People Partnering, you are integral to the success of V/Line’s People, Risk, Safety & Sustainability Group.Reporting into the Chief People Officer, you will lead the People Partnering Team into the future by developing team capability and strategically advising on process improvement.Key accountabilities include:Partner with Senior Leaders and Executives to develop and implement strategic People initiatives.Manage and lead the People Partnering Team, ensuring responsiveness, accountability, and high-quality service delivery.Deliver process improvements to enhance team capability and service offerings.Provide expert advice on complex people matters and manage resources to support critical initiatives.Build trusted relationships with stakeholders to drive innovative people solutions and support change activities within the organisation.About youYou are a proactive and adaptable leader with extensive experience in leading teams of Business Partners or HR professionals.In addition to this, our ideal candidate will possess:Excellent organisational skills to manage competing priorities in a high-volume, dynamic environment.Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies that align with organisational goals.Strong stakeholder communication and negotiation skills, enabling you to influence, guide, and support staff at all levels, whilst navigate complex people matters effectively.Deep understanding of change management, organisational design, employee relations, and workforce planning.Demonstrated alignment with V/Line’s values of responsiveness, integrity, impartiality, accountability, respect, leadership and human rights.If your skills or experience don’t exactly match our listed requirements, we still encourage you to apply.
