We’re partnering with the Yarraville Festival to bring back our ‘Greek Antiques’ at the iconic Sun Theatre.
Join us for a screening of ‘H Neraida kai to Palikari’; a beautiful romantic comedy where Fourtounakis’ daughter, Katerinio, is forced to get engaged with a brutal Cretan, Skandalakis. However, the return of a long lost lover from Athens leads to a great romance that is forbidden by their families.
This years selection celebrates the zeitgeist of 1960s Greek cinema and “re-releases” a lot of nostalgia. 🎟️
This session will include an exclusive pre-show interview with the former owner of the Sun Theatre, Peter Yiannoudes.
