Job description: We’re looking for an experienced Environment Manager for an initial 6-month contract. This role will manage application environments and oversee smooth software releases across development, testing, staging, and production.Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and ensure consistency of environments (development, testing, staging, production).
  • Collaborate with infrastructure teams to manage dependencies, configurations, and integrations.
  • Develop and implement release strategies, coordinating software releases and patches.
  • Automate deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools and enforce version control and rollback strategies.
  • Communicate release plans, risks, and impacts to stakeholders.
  • Drive post-release support and incident resolution.

Required Skills:

  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps preferred).
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • 5+ years in environment/release management, DevOps, or IT operations.
  • Experience in Agile/DevOps environments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field.

Duration: 6-Month Contract
Location: Melbourne CBD – Must be Melbourne Based
WFH: Office days 1-2 days per week
