The team is comprised of Finance, Risk & Assurance, Workplace Experience & Procurement, Investor Relations, Corporate Development and Corporate Communications.For our Workplace team, the staff are our customers, we look after them. We support our people and give them a pleasant and safe working experience in the office and at home. We’re onsite, front of house, and always offering a helping hand.Whilst we are looking for someone to be at our front desk, the role is not just answering the phone and greeting people with a smile. It’s about continually finding ways to improve the current office environment, looking after the space and culture, and ultimately creating a space that everyone is proud to work in.What the role is all aboutAct as the main point of contact and front-of-house for all visitors and guests to REAManage incoming / outgoing calls, emails, Slacks, and in-person enquiriesCommunicate facility and office updates to staff via the appropriate channelsBe responsible for our visitor management system, ensuring our guests to the office do the right thingMaintain security and access register and ensure all guests to REA and signed in and out appropriatelyEnsure staff common and amenity areas such as mail room, breakfast area, and reception are well maintainedMonitor and action PWE (Procurement & Workplace Experience) tickets that relate to reception, including couriers, new starters and departures, lockers, events, catering, etcBe responsible for reception duties for states outside of Melbourne and Sydney, as well as remote workersBe responsible in the coordination of REA internal social events across all statesAssist the WHS Committee group to implement workplace safety programs and information in and around the officeAssist the Sustainability team to implement sustainable measures in and around the officeAssist the People Services team to implement parking, benefits, new starter and departures, and policiesAssist to maintain team internal intranet pages on REA intranet with relevant information and updates to staffAct as both an REA First Aider or Warden (training will be provided)Who we’re looking forA real people person!A quick learner and multi-taskerExceptional phone mannerWork productively in a fast paced and agile environmentSomeone who likes to smile, laugh, and have fun with staffLook at tricky situations through a solutions-focused lensAbility to lift light weight furniture and parcels in a safe waySuperior organisation skillsMaintain a professional and polished appearance, adhering to a smart casual dress codeA proactive and approachable demeanour – a positive outlook is everything!Someone who is tech-savvy and keen to keep learningA team player – you take a proactive approach to supporting your team and enjoy work collaborativelyThe REA experienceThe physical, mental, emotional and financial health of our people is something we’ll never stop caring about.
