Job description: They have been in operations for over 20 years in Melbourne servicing a wide range of sectors, including commercial, education & government across refurbishment and new build. They have built a strong reputation delivering projects for the state and federal government and are a preferred builder across Victoria to deliver projects up to $10m in value.The RoleDue to being awarded a number of new projects, a number of opportunities have become available for experienced Foreman who have experience working on commercial projects. The project they are currently seeking a foreman for is a School refurbishment in Murrayville valued at $3mTo be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following:
- Trade qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years working under a site manager or foreman
- Experience working across commercial projects – Refurbishments or New Builds
Duties:
- Management and coordination of trades on site
- Ensuring site specific OH&S policies and procedures are met
- Ensure projects are completed within given time frames and on budget
- Site inductions
- Working on the tools
The OpportunityYou will have the opportunity to work for a well established and stable contract that is a preferred supplier to federal and state government works, as well as a broad range of private commercial projects as well.
