This service will provide comprehensive care for people in Melbourne, offering services such as crisis intervention, case management, psychological treatments, and peer support. The organisation is committed to leading the way in mental health care, driving innovation and collaboration to meet the evolving needs of people facing complex mental health challenges.The RoleThis role ensures smooth and continuous transformation, aligning new opportunities with a high-performing mental health service. Reporting to the CEO, the Project Director will oversee the integration of mental health services across Melbourne, creating an innovative, unified care model.
- Lead major transformation projects, driving organisational change and integration across mental health services.
- Oversee change management processes, ensuring seamless project execution and alignment with a high-performing service.
- Guide project teams, providing leadership, training, and support to achieve project milestones.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of strategic initiatives.
- Manage communication and engagement across all levels of the organisation to ensure clear understanding and alignment.
- Implement and monitor project progress, addressing issues and ensuring quality and compliance standards.
- Drive the integration of community and bed-based youth mental health services across Melbourne’s northern and western suburbs.
- Ensure projects align with the Royal Commission’s recommendations and contribute to an innovative model of care.
- Oversee financials, risks, and operational efficiency to meet budget and organisational goals.
Your ProfileTo be the successful candidate you will have experience in the following areas:
- Extensive experience in senior leadership roles, ideally within the health or mental health sector.
- Proven track record in successfully managing large-scale transformation projects.
- Strong expertise in change management, with the ability to guide complex organisational changes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate diverse teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
- High level of project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple work streams and meet deadlines.
- Experience in managing budgets, financials, and risk mitigation for large projects.
- Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Change Management, or a related field.
