Job title: Traffic Engineer

Job description: Randstad Recruitment has exclusively partnered with a Local Council in Metropolitan Melbourne for the recruitment of two Traffic Engineers. These roles are initial 6 month contracts, with a high likelihood of extension.To be considered for these roles you will need to be proficient in the following areas:
- Provide traffic engineering technical advice to the Projects Department and other relevant Council departments
- Providing engineering recommendations to traffic, parking, road safety & public transport issues impacting the Council
- Proficient in issuing Traffic Management Plans (TMP’s)
- Experience in dealing with Traffic Planning referrals
Qualifications
- A degree in Civil Engineering, or relevant experience/qualifications.
