We are seeking a Team Leader – Pay Tools for our Bendigo, Canberra, Melbourne or Sydney office locations. Full-time and part-time hours are available. Offers will be based on candidate performance and operational requirements.This recruitment process will be used to fill a current Ongoing position. This recruitment process may also be used to fill future Non-Ongoing opportunities over the next 18 months.About the OFWOThe Office of the Fair Work Ombudsman (OFWO) is an independent statutory office established by the Fair Work Act 2009 (Fair Work Act). Our functions outline the responsibilities we have as set by the Fair Work Act and other legislation to achieve our purpose:

  • provide education, assistance, advice and guidance to employers, employees, outworkers, outworker entities and organisations
  • promote and monitor compliance with workplace laws
  • inquire into and investigate breaches of the Fair Work Act
  • take appropriate enforcement action
  • perform our statutory functions efficiently, effectively, economically and ethically.

About the TeamThe Legal and Specialist Advice Branch provides specialised advice and content on workplace rights and responsibilities. Our Pay Tools Team proactively maintains our pay tools, including the Pay and Conditions Tool (PACT), pay guides and historical pay rates, and ensures they remain up to date, including by leading and coordinating the FWO’s response to the Fair Work Commission Annual Wage Review (AWR) Decision.The Pay Tools Team uses several IT systems to maintain and update the information available through our pay tools, including Oracle Intelligent Advisor and SharePoint.
