This role is part of our corporate team, where our shared services – think finance, legal, HR, procurement – come together to make sure all teams across Australia have access to the business services and enablement they need to thrive! Talent Acquisition is responsible for identifying the delivering talent across 35 sites, Australia-wide, so that Thales can continue to successfully provide the products and services our customers and our country have come to rely on.THE ROLEWorking hybrid from our Melbourne Office in the World Trade Centre on Wurundjeri land or our Sydney HQ, Sydney Olympic Park, on Wann-gal land, this role is an end-to-end senior talent acquisition role, encompassing the following:Executing sourcing and hiring process on the back of a thorough role briefPartnering with your stakeholders to understand their business, their teams and priorities so that you can deliver exceptional advice, counsel and serviceBuilding trusting and considered relationships with your candidates, connecting their career objectives into our relevant opportunitiesEffectively representing the Thales Employer brand online, at events and through all interactions with competitors, prospects, customers because anyone is a future candidate or a future leaderQuestioning and challenging process and practices to understand why or why not things are done, so that we all continue to improve and evolveCollaborating and supporting your peers across TA and broader HR, we are one people team, and we are better together, sharing and learning alwaysYOUR PROFILE
To be successful in this role, you’ll need to bring proven competence in the following:Stakeholder Management, this is crucial to your success, you need to have experience navigating challenging senior stakeholders.Sourcing proficiency, know which channels and approaches work the best for which roles and use them efficiently to get the right talent as quickly as possible for the business.Problem solving your way through ambiguous and complex situations and people is something you do regularly.Decision making and judgement, as the experienced TA professional it is your role to identify the best path forward for the organisation when it comes to identifying, assessing and securing the right talent to deliver.Tools savvy, we’re not expecting you to have mastered every ATS and CRM known to our kind, but some exposure and practice coupled with genuine curiosity and learning agility will serve you well.SOUNDING LIKE YOU?
