We believe the principles of being ethical, transparent, and accountable are essential for our long-term performance.We’re looking for a committed and passionate Sustainability Advisor to join our Sustainability Team to focus on Sustainability strategy implementation and reporting. You will be comfortable in a fast paced, agile environment and work collaboratively to execute our ESG strategy, prepare for mandatory Australian Sustainability Reporting Standards (ASRS), deliver ESG reporting and emissions reductions plans. You will bring
operational excellence and a passion for improving REA’s ESG performance.What the role is all aboutSupport delivery and execution of REA’s materiality assessment and sustainability strategy; including implementation of the strategy through collaboration with internal and external
stakeholdersSupport delivery and implementation of REA’s decarbonisation planSupport the end-to-end delivery of REA’s annual sustainability report and ASRS reportingSupport annual greenhouse gas emissions calculationSupport implementation of greenhouse gas emissions softwareLead production and verification of the annual Sustainability Data Pack and contribute to content for Annual ReportingContinuously improve the governance of non-financial metrics and targets, including documenting processes, definitions and ownershipLead the data collection, analysis and submission of key ESG reports including S&P
Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA), as well as the analysis of the
Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI) ESG rating reportsContribute to regular reporting for REA’s ESG committeeContribute to thought leadership on environmental topics including Sustainable
Development Goals (SDGs), science-based targets, net zero goal and decarbonisation
initiativesWho we’re looking forYou’ll need to demonstrate your skills and experience in sustainability, and you’ve
probably got 3 – 5 years professional experience in a similar role (either consulting or
in-house)A Bachelor’s degree, ideally in a business or sustainability-related discipline would be
valued, but we’re more interested in who you are than where you’ve beenPractical experience in sustainability or climate change strategy executionExperience with sustainability disclosures and reporting standards e.g. GRI, SASB, ISSB, ASRS, GHG protocol etc.Carbon accounting experience (in line with recognised standards and guidelines such as Climate Active, the GHG Protocol and SBTi) or ESG reportingProgram management and communications experience will help you get the job doneStrong cross-functional stakeholder management experienceThe REA experienceThe physical, mental, emotional and financial health of our people is something we’ll never stop caring about.
