Find out more about ANZ Worldline Payment Solutions .Reporting to: Head of SMB SalesThe Opportunity:We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to lead a dedicated team of telephone-based sales consultants. In this role, you will be responsible for driving both inbound and outbound sales efforts, ensuring your team meets and exceeds revenue targets. Your leadership will focus on training, motivating, and coaching your team, along with overseeing performance through regular reporting and data analysis. You will be integral in delivering strong results, ensuring compliance, and supporting business growth strategies.Key Responsibilities:

  • Maximise Conversion Rate of Inbound Leads: Drive the conversion of inbound leads by ensuring prompt responses and guiding prospects effectively through the sales cycle to secure new business.
  • Referral Process Execution: Ensure proper execution of the referral process between ANZ and ANZ Worldline Payment Solutions, optimising cross-functional collaboration and lead handling.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure that all activities align with ANZ Worldline Payment Solutions policies, processes, and external regulatory and legislative requirements. Deliver outcomes for Quality Assurance, Conversion, and Call Monitoring.
  • Team Retention and Recruitment: Drive team retention strategies while managing recruitment efforts to ensure the team is fully resourced and capable of hitting performance targets.
  • Training and Development: Work with the coaching and performance manager to develop training initiatives to ensure that team members are well-equipped to meet performance goals. Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to create and deliver targeted training content.
  • Foster High-Performance Culture: Cultivate a high-performance sales culture by ensuring a focus on results, accountability, and personal growth.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of business plans and sales strategies. Work closely with other departments to ensure the implementation of strategies that drive business growth.
  • Reporting and Performance Monitoring: Regularly report on team performance, including sales metrics, conversion rates, and other KPIs. Provide detailed insights to the Head of SMB Sales, ensuring that leadership has a clear view of the team’s progress toward revenue goals. Utilise data to make informed decisions and adjust strategies as needed.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyse sales data, identify trends, and make strategic decisions based on performance insights.
  • Effective Communication and Relationship Building: Exceptional interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships both with internal teams and clients.
  • Commercial Instincts: Strong business acumen and understanding of the market, enabling you to make sound commercial decisions.
  • People Leadership: Proven ability to lead, coach, and inspire a sales team to achieve and exceed targets, with a focus on both individual and team development.
  • Quality and Process-Oriented: A commitment to delivering quality results through structured processes, continuous improvement, and adherence to best practices.
  • Sales Management Experience: Experience in managing both inbound and outbound sales teams, with a strong focus on revenue generation and team performance.
  • Business Strategy Development: Experience in creating business development plans and revenue strategies that contribute to overall growth.
