Job title: Senior Validation Specialist – Microbiology

Job description: About the company/role:
- Major pharmaceutical company
- Located close to Melbourne CBD
- 12 month contract, potential to extend
- Full-time hours, Mon – Fri
Duties, but not limited to:
- Lead troubleshooting investigations technical challenges with QC test method to deliver solutions for implementation through the quality system. (CAPA, Change Control)
- Provide guidance and SME oversite for execution of method standardisation and robustness
- Development of current and new test methods
- Responsible for experimental design on key projects that involve new technologies and processes to QC
- Maintains industry knowledge and awareness of new methods, equipment and techniques
- Development of new methods. Able to identify improvements which have a positive impact to the business
- Review validation data activites amd identify any detrimetnal trend or deviation
Skills/experience:
- Bachelor of Science majoring in Microbiology or closely related field
- 2-5 years of experience in a pharmaceutical company in a quality related role
- Experience in method development is essential
- Proven time management skills for planning and schedule of work
- Knowledge of continuous improvement techniques and advanced root cause analysis techniques
- Excellent Verbal and written communication skills
