What You’ll Be Doing:
- Advising clients on tax structuring, due diligence, consolidations and thin capitalisation matters.
- Conducting in-depth tax research and preparing technical advice on Australian taxation issues.
- Managing corporate tax compliance, including tax returns and International Dealings Schedules.
- Navigating specialised compliance obligations such as Country-by-Country Reporting.
- Engaging with clients and regulatory bodies delivering clear and effective tax solutions.
Role Requirements:
- 2-4 years of tax experience in an Australian accounting firm, either in corporate tax or a specialist area like transfer pricing. Business services professionals with a strong tax interest are also encouraged to apply.
- A Bachelor of Commerce, Law, or equivalent degree.
- CA or CPA qualification (or in progress) is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex legislation.
- Excellent communication skills, with confidence in liaising with clients and stakeholders.
- A proactive approach, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
