Ph: 0433 552 513 Email: [email protected]Position DetailsTHE ROLEReporting to the Manager, Strategic Investment, the Senior Policy Officer contributes to whole-of system thinking and the delivery of important initiatives related to forecasting demand for children and families services. The Senior Policy Officer supports coordination of strategic investment in the sector to reduce demand and improve outcomes for vulnerable children and families.The Senior Policy Officer undertakes data analysis and modelling and contributes to a range of initiatives critical to delivering strategic reform, budget strategy and social investment directions across the children and families portfolio.ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
- Provide authoritative advice, reasoned recommendations and innovative solutions to complex and sensitive issues based on comprehensive research.
- Develop policy initiatives that meet government and departmental objectives within resourcing, timeline and budget parameters.
- Undertake data analysis and modelling to support strategic reform, budget strategy and social investment directions.
