The teamInformation Technology Services offers extensive IT facilities and support to ASIC. We are launching major projects to transform our business, focusing on application modernisation, data analytics, mobility, and cloud. Utilizing AWS, Databricks, and Microsoft Azure, our team provides technology leadership and guidance to develop and maintain the strategic data platform roadmap, delivering projects and ongoing support.The roleAs the Senior Manager for Data & Analytics Technology, you will be required to:
- Own all technical delivery aspects of Data platforms, including architecture, design, processes, data delivery, quality control, and support.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architects and Data Governance to develop the IT Strategy and Roadmap for the Data Platform.
- Lead and mentor technical teams to design, deliver, and support technical solutions.
- Manage platform priorities and provide resources to meet agreed priorities, working with key stakeholders.
- Ensure systems and data are available within agreed SLA.
- Manage cost center finances, ensuring accurate forecasts and budget adherence.
- Oversee key vendor partnerships.
- Build and maintain relationships with peers and stakeholders.
- Proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies.
About youYou will be responsible for a team of 60 + high performing developers and for leading the strategy to design, deliver, and support the data and analytics cloud platforms at ASIC. You will have the following skills:
- Strong leadership in designing, delivering, and supporting data and analytics cloud platforms for medium to large organizations.
- Proven experience managing complex business stakeholder relationships, driving transformational change.
- Track record in transformation programs involving data, analytics, and enterprise-wide system implementation.
- Expertise in budgeting, strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and vendor management.
- Experience delivering Agile at scale, with Agile Release Train knowledge being desirable.
- Proficient in developing IT Strategy and Roadmap for Data and Analytics.
- ITIL knowledge is desirable.
- Tertiary qualification in Information Technology and Data Science or equivalent experience is highly regarded.
