Job description: Job description My client, a well-known and respected building services consulting firm has asked me to assist them in finding a senior hydraulic design engineer to join their established team operating from Melbourne’s CBD.You will play a crucial role in the design, analysis, and delivery of hydraulic systems to a wide range of jobs across the commercial building and infrastructure spaces.This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to lead projects, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver recognisable projects.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, analysis, and delivery of hydraulic engineering projects, ensuring technical excellence and compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct hydraulic modelling and analysis.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and support to junior engineers, project teams and the engineering manager.
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to deliver innovative, cost-effective, and sustainable solutions.
- Prepare and review technical reports, specifications, and project documentation.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively, ensuring client satisfaction.
- Contribute to business development, including proposals, tenders, and client relationship management.
