Join Our Team as the Senior Human Resources ConsultantAre you a seasoned HR professional with a passion for strategic HR management and employee relations? The Limestone Coast Local Health Network is seeking a dynamic Senior Human Resources Consultant to join our team. This is your chance to influence and shape HR practices across a diverse and impactful healthcare environment.About the Role: As a Senior Human Resources Consultant, you will report directly to the Director, People & Culture, providing expert consultancy services to our executive and senior managers. Your role will involve:

  • Working closely with executive and senior managers to resolve complex and sensitive HR issues.
  • Cultivate strong working relationships and provide support to designated groups, fostering self-sufficiency in HR management responsibilities and to adopt a continuous improvement approach to the management of their staff.
  • Drive continuous improvement in HR practices by researching, assessing, and responding to policy issues and emerging trends and risks in human resources.
  • Recommend strategies on a diverse range of complex and sensitive matters which will include preparation of concise written reports containing sound recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level strategic and operational HR advice to senior management.
  • Represent the organisation during complex employee relations processes.
  • Drive the planning, development, and implementation of organisational change.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate best practice policies, procedures, and strategies to improve HR management.
  • Deliver HR services and organisational development projects that align with SA Health’s goals.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven Experience: Demonstrated ability in developing and maintaining effective collaborative relationships with clients and achieving objectives through business partnering. You will also have significant experience in providing expert HR advice to senior management representing organisations in complex employee relations matters
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyse and resolve complex situations and apply practical people management solutions.
  • Leadership: Understanding of leadership principles, with the ability to motivate, influence others, and manage conflict.
  • Communication Skills: High levels of interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills in complex and sensitive environments.
  • Independence & Teamwork: Ability to work under broad direction independently and collaboratively to achieve outcomes.
  • Expertise in contemporary HR practices, including awards, legislation, and quality improvement principles.
