They are looking to bring their prototype to market readiness through the next stage of design and operational refinement.THE ROLEImmediate start!We are seeking a Project Coordinator to oversee the critical next phase of this innovative product’s development. This is a part-time contract position, requiring on-site presence in Melbourne for two days per week over a six-month term.Key responsibilities include:
- Developing a detailed project plan based on the existing scope of works (SOW).
- Identifying critical dependencies and ensuring smooth collaboration between internal and external teams.
- Regular communication with the Systems, Software, and Design Consultancy teams.
- Identifying potential roadblocks and implementing strategies to mitigate them.
- Reconciling invoices and monitoring expenses against the project budget.
- Providing periodic project status reports to the management team, highlighting risks and progress.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the project’s delivery is on time, within budget, and aligned with the company’s market entry goals.REQUIREMENTSTo excel in this role, you will need:
- Five years of experience in a dedicated project management role, ideally involving complex engineering designs or technology-focused projects.
- Proven expertise in budget management, risk mitigation, and cross-functional team coordination.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with internal teams, external consultants, and stakeholders.
- Experience in prototype development and transitioning designs to operational readiness is highly regarded.
- Availability for part-time, on-site work in South Melbourne.
