As part of this strategic change, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced compliance professional to assist with the development and execution of compliance strategies to ensure regulatory interests are met.In this collaborative, customer focused team and reporting to a supportive Group Head of Risk, Audit and Compliance, you will maintain and enhance the compliance management framework, ensuring business awareness and management of compliance obligations and provide timely and accurate compliance advice. With a key focus on stakeholder management, you will foster relationships with Executive leaders, staff and regulatory bodies, guiding them through complex regulatory concepts and ensuring compliance. In this critical supporting role and managing a small team, you will collaborate with legal and business units, prepare compliance reports for governance committees and deliver annual insurance renewal processes.This is a newly created and broadly mandated role that will appeal to a career-minded senior compliance professional with experience in managing and embedding a compliance function across an organisation. With industry experience in banking, insurance, or financial services, you will be degree qualified in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, and will have leadership skills developed within a senior regulatory compliance role. Naturally inclusive and collaborative, you are a proven team player with demonstrable stakeholder engagement skills.
