- Manage and reconcile client accounts using Xero and MYOB.
- Prepare and process invoices, payments, and financial transactions accurately.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure meticulous record-keeping.
- Generate financial reports and provide insights to support client decision-making.
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to deliver exceptional client service.
- Stay informed about industry regulations and best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a bookkeeper, ideally in public accounting or supporting small businesses.
- Advanced proficiency in Xero and MYOB, including payroll functions.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations.
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or bookkeeping certifications.
