This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone with strong accounts receivable and reconciliation skills as you will play a pivotal role for ensuring the ongoing effective management of government funding received to the business.You will be joining a business that has won numerous awards & prides itself on its inclusive culture.You will benefit from working within a high performing team, with the opportunity to work remotely 2 days a week.Commencing mid-March 2025, this position is offered on an initial 5-month fixed term contract and will include salary packaging benefits.The RoleReporting to the Financial Manager, this role will see you working in a friendly and team focused environment where your duties will include:
- Auditing revenue to ensure the business is receiving all funding owed.
- Liaising with finance / operational staff regarding revenue issues
- Active involvement in monthly & regular reporting processes as required.
- Active involvement in analysis, project & ad hoc tasks as required
- Responsibility for the completion of balance sheet reconciliations
Your ProfileThis role will be best suited to someone with:
- A minimum 2 years’ experience in a high-volume transactional environment
- Strong excel skills and comfortable working with large sets of data
- The ability to work autonomously
- Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external
- Degree qualified in accountancy, business or a related field
