  • Based at the Melbourne CBD campus, but may be required to work and/or be based at other campuses of the University

About the RoleThe Research Coordinator will support a range of digital inclusion research projects to support the delivery of high quality, internationally recognised research, and coordinate and oversee administrative processes, in coordination with the ARC Centre of Excellence for Automated Decision-Making and Society. This includes managing funding agreements and contracts, developing knowledge management and communications strategies; establishing and maintaining frameworks, tools, protocols and processes to ensure the effective management of information across multiple separate but linked projects; assisting with the hire and/or supervision of casual staff and HDR students.ADM+S Commitment to Equity, Diversity and InclusionEquity, diversity, and inclusion are integral to the ADM+S Centre’s mission: to create knowledge and strategies for responsible, ethical, and inclusive automated decision-making (ADM).   • A post-graduate tertiary qualification and/or extensive experience in research administration in a complex tertiary education or similar service environment.
  • High level interpersonal communication skills including the ability to negotiate and liaise effectively with researchers, professional staff and external parties on complex, sensitive and confidential issues.
  • Excellent research and writing skills and high level analytical, numerical, research and problem-solving skills.
  • Extensive experience in reviewing processes and procedures with the ability to implement continuous improvement strategies.
