We are purpose driven and collaborative, which drives innovation and our ability to make a real impact.Where the team fits inThe role sits within our Reward and People Operations team, a Centre of Expertise (COE) group within REA Group’s People and Culture team and reports to our Executive Manager, Reward and People Operations.What the role is all aboutYou really are the go-to person for all things remuneration and benefits in REA Australia and have an understanding of the Group-wide programs and their deployment in our overseas and partner businesses.The key purpose of this role is to provide specialist remuneration and benefits support within the People & Culture team, ensuring that our remuneration and benefits programs support the attraction and retention of talent. In addition, the role is accountable for the management and delivery of key cyclical remuneration processes.Contribute perspective and thought leadership in all areas of remuneration to ensure that REA’s remuneration strategy remains aligned with our evolving and diverse business needs, in Australia and in international marketsProvide mentoring and development to the People and Culture business partnering team as the remuneration SMEOversee the day-to-day operation of REA’s remuneration framework, ensuring that the framework and associated pay structures remain fit for purpose and are competitiveContinue to integrate the remuneration framework into the business so we can achieve a greater level of transparencyEnsure that key remuneration moments support the REA Group Employee Value PropositionLead and manage the annual remuneration reviews process to ensure a good user experience that is accurate, on time and continues to further align REA with their remuneration strategy and philosophyPartner with Finance to develop the annual Remuneration Report and contribute as necessary in the build up to the AGMOversight and management of all REA Group share plans (LTIP, ESPP) including preparation of offer documents, management of allocation and vesting process, share plan reporting and administration.Ensure that the REA approach to Job Evaluations is fit-for-purpose and aligned with business strategic needsManage and deliver REAs contribution to salary surveysManage and deliver market benchmarking including REA Executive Leadership TeamDeliver the remuneration aspects of the annual WGEA submissionManage the Board and Human Resources Committee (HRC) paper timeline, contribute to the preparation of HRC papers, and present to the HRC and Executive Leadership Team as requiredOversee the implementation of all HR Committee decisions and ensure these decisions are communicated as requiredManagement of REA mobility programPartner with People Services to ensure a seamless delivery of the relocation experienceSourcing and management of strategic partnershipsWho we’re looking forDemonstrated remuneration expertise in the ASX environment, whether from a consulting house or directlyDemonstrated expertise in the key areas of Annual Remuneration reviews, Equity plan design and administration, short- and long-term incentive plan design and managementExcellent analytical skills, particularly in the use of ExcelGreat communication and stakeholder management – with the ability to explain complex programs to employees and key stakeholders at all levels of the business, including ELT and the Board as requiredA proactive and continuous improvement mindset to ensure effective application of remuneration plans and core processes to support business objectivesA desire to work collaboratively across the P&C function and be the subject matter expertThe REA experienceThe physical, mental, emotional and financial health of our people is something we’ll never stop caring about.
