As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of facility management projects for our client, Australia Post. You will oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initial establishment to handover and project closure.An Overview of the role:
- Independently contribute to project deliverables with little guidance from senior team members
- Validate and oversee deliverables produced by Assistant Project Managers and Project Coordinators
- Develop and maintain project budgets, ensuring completion within budget
- Establish project timelines and objectives, and maintain an accurate risk register
- Chair project meetings and ensure timely issuance of meeting minutes and agendas
- Negotiate and administer contracts with clients, consultants, and suppliers
- Manage project finances, including cost reports, invoicing, and variations
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Oversee project closeout and financial reconciliation

- Bachelor’s degree in Project or Construction Management or related field
- Experienced in commercial property, with at least 4 years in design, construction, or project management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and Microsoft Project
- Strong negotiation and contract administration skills
- Knowledge of ISO standards and environmental health and safety legislation
- Ability to assess client needs and project constraints
- Familiarity with different project delivery methods
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
