Job description: A newly created and exciting opportunity for a Program Manager has arisen to join a friendly and flexible team in a global organisation. This role will be responsible for leading a Merger & Acquisition (M&A) program, and integrating a new acquired business across all finance, HR, marketing, operations & technology.Reporting to the business owner, you will be responsible for management of key workstreams, to ensure alignment across the leads, driving the program to success, and ensuring it is tracking to budget, managing financials, risk & issue management and interdependency, resource, change & stakeholder management.As such, you will bring the following key skills and experience and attributes:
- Proven experience as a Program Manage, and/or Senior Project Management
- Previous experience in delivery of similar M&A projects (or de-merger)
- Experience in working across an enterprise, with the ability to integrate
- Excellent program and project management capabilities from business case to hand-over
- Outstanding stakeholder management &, change management skills
- A polished communicator, who is capable of engaging and presenting to all levels.
- An ability to manage budgets, resources and risk & Issues
- Agile and flexible, and capable of delivered iteratively
This is a great opportunity to join a global and market leading organisation, on an initial 12-month fixed term basis with potential to extend, based in Melbourne’s CBD with a hybrid working model. Given they are global, this program manager will require some flexibility to accommodate time zones challenges, however they offer a flexible working environment in return. An appropriate salary will be negotiated with the successful candidate based on meeting the above criteria.
