VCAT is committed to delivering an accessible service for all Victorians and is transforming our digital products and services to make it faster, easier, and more convenient for people to come to the tribunal.About the RoleThe Portfolio Analyst plays a pivotal role in overseeing the strategic alignment, governance, and execution of projects and programs across the VCAT.The Portfolio Analyst is responsible for gathering and analysing data on the portfolio of projects, by supporting responsible stakeholders in ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget while achieving the desired business outcomes. This role requires a blend of reporting, data and insights visualisation, administration of the ePM Tool and support of assurance activities for some of VCAT’s programs.The role will require you to:
- support the development of an integrated roadmap of all VCAT initiatives and provide advice to senior decision-makers on future investment priorities.
- provide coordinated portfolio advice concerning VCAT initiatives, including translating VCAT plans and the pipeline of work into a prioritised portfolio for future investment that meets the needs of VCAT members and customers.
- support the develpment of business cases for prioritised initiatives, using multi-disciplinary project development teams.
- identify resource capacity and report to the Head of ePMO on the requirement to deliver programs and projects.
About YouThe preferred candidate will have:
- a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management or related filed (Master’s degree preferred)
- proven experience in portfolio management or senior project management roles within a complex organisational setting
- strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organisation
- excellent analytical and problem-soliving abilities
- proficiency in portfolio management tools and software (eg. Microsoft Project, Jira, EPM365)
