Here at TheGreeks, we love seeing your photos and keeping our community a safe and helpful resource. To ensure a positive experience for everyone, we’ve outlined some photo guidelines to follow:
Keeping it Clean & Respectful:
- Family-Friendly: We strive for a comfortable environment, so please avoid graphic violence, nudity, or anything else unsuitable for a general audience.
- Respect for Privacy: We value privacy – yours and of the businesses listed. Don’t take photos where photography is prohibited, and if someone asks their photo to be removed, we’ll gladly take care of it.
Authenticity & Accuracy:
- Originality is Key: Share your unique experiences! We don’t allow copyrighted or trademarked material.
- Focus on the Property: Photos should showcase the specific listing they’re attached to. Ensure they accurately represent the property and adhere to our listing requirements.
Technical Specifications:
- Safe & Sound Uploads: Keep your photos virus-free! We don’t want anything harming our systems or yours.
- High-Quality Photos: Help others visualize the property with clear, well-lit photos. We don’t accept blurry, altered, or incorrectly rotated images.
Choosing the Right Format & Size:
- Size Matters: Most photos have a 10 MB limit.
- Compatible Formats: Stick to .gif, .jpg, .bmp, or .png formats.
- Landscape is King: Landscape photos (wider than tall) typically display better. We recommend an aspect ratio between 1:1 and 4:3.
- Fitting the Frame: We’ll adjust photo sizes to fit our standard display boxes.
