You will be responsible for supporting and contributing to the success of our SICS government and private contracts, this role will see you managing our key client group including a large blue-collar workforce.What you’ll doThe role has a broad remit, with key responsibilities outlined below:
- Provide advisory support and coaching to managers to manage employee relations and industrial relations matters.
- Work closely with HR Business partners, functional HR teams and other teams to gather project requirements and coordinate project activities.
- Identify and engage key stakeholders, establish effective communication channels and manage stakeholder expectations throughout the project & annual cycles.
- Ensure equitable and consistent employee relations in line with legislative requirements by supporting line managers to embrace best practice HRM technique
- Conducts and manages all engagement with employees and associated unions in line with Downer policies and values
What you’ll bring
- Tertiary Qualification in HR, Business Management, or a related discipline (desirable).
- Experience in high volume and / or blue-collar environment
- Strong HR/IR generalist experience, with knowledge of HR principles, practices & regulations.
- Knowledge of Fair Work Act, relevant awards, enterprise agreements.
- Experience coaching and supporting managers through HR processes.
- exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate at all levels.
