We have an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal to join Maurice Blackburn’s Social Justice Practice in our Melbourne CBD office on a part-time (0.6) 6-month fixed-term contract.In this role, you’ll support our Social Justice team, which takes on high-profile cases that address complex and important issues. Our work extends beyond the courtroom, with a commitment to pro bono cases, community involvement, and achieving outcomes that drive lasting change. This is an opportunity to contribute to impactful work in a dynamic and meaningful way.About YouYou bring a passion for social justice, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. You’ll have experience conducting legal research, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with clients. - Previous experience as a Paralegal
- Strong legal research skills, particularly in complex matters
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to multitask
- A solid academic record
- Empathy and understanding of our client base
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- High attention to detail
