To put it simply we want our people to thrive and love the work they do.The Organisational Capability & Performance Advisor is an integral member of the People & Culture team, providing essential support in the development and coordination of initiatives that enhance leadership qualities, enable strategic workforce planning, streamline talent and succession management, and strengthen performance management throughout the organisation. The role contributes to both project delivery and business-as-usual activities, ensuring Rest’s workforce is well-equipped and aligned with the strategic goals for continued growth and success.Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities
- Leadership Development and Assessment:
- Support the development and implementation of leadership and competency frameworks
- Support the design and implementation of leadership initiatives & development programs
- Assist development of approaches for competency and leadership assessment, and development solutions to address these gaps
- Strategic Workforce Planning Support:
- Facilitate key components of the strategic workforce planning process, including data collection, analysis, and reporting on workforce trends and projections
- Contribute to the development of action plans that address skills gaps and future capability needs
- Talent and Succession Management:
- Support talent identification and development initiatives, helping to manage talent pools and track progression paths
- Data management, analysis and coordination activities to enable succession planning activities
- Performance Management Enhancement:
- Aid in administering and enhancing the performance management system, ensuring it effectively aligns with strategic objectives
- Assist in the preparation of performance reports and analytics to inform management decisions
- Initiative & BAU Delivery:
- Support the Senior Manager and Head of in executing organisational capability and performance projects on time and within scope
- Provide project support including meeting coordination, documentation, and tracking of project milestones
- Continuous Improvement:
- Keep abreast of the latest trends in employee experience, culture, and engagement
- Suggest innovative ideas and best practices to continually enhance people experience initiatives, leveraging internal and external data to enhance insights
Qualifications
- Degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field
Required experience, understanding or credentials including:
- Experience in human resources, organisational development, or in a similar capacity, focusing on capability, talent and performance initiatives.
- Experience in collating, critically analysing and managing data to drive strategic human resources initiatives
- Understanding of the development of leadership development, workforce planning, talent management, and performance systems in a collaborative team environment
- Understanding of superannuation industry trends and challenges is desirable.
