Inside you’ll find 7 group exercise studios for classes including Reformer Pilates, Grid Training (HIIT), Yoga, Cycle, Barre (and more), a large open gym with Technogym equipment, a sparkling 25m swimming pool, spa & sauna, indoor climbing wall, relaxing sleep pods, luxury changeroom amenities, and a spacious café and lounge area, perfect for unwinding or catching up on work. The gig:Reporting to the Club General Manager you’ll lead the operations & safety team in our Pitt Street club. It’s about delivering unforgettable customer experiences in a safe environment where members love spending time.In a nutshell –

  • You’ll provide heartfelt service and exceptional operational management in line with our customer experience strategy and brand standards
  • Manage the day-to-day operations including the delivery of the customer experience, follow-up on maintenance needs and ensuring a safe environment where members and team members love spending time.
  • Lead the day-to-day delivery of the customer experience creating an environment where members and team members love spending time.
  • You’ll ensure all interactions are warm, queries are answered and feedback handled effectively.
  • You’ll provide training on customer touchpoints in club and oversee the leaver experience.
  • You’ll oversee relevant admin including processing cancellations, reconciliations and banking.
  • Ensure all areas and equipment are safe and clean and that the club’s appearance reflects the highest standard throughout the studios, changerooms and common areas.
  • Advocate safety and ensure an overall safe environment for members and team members.
  • Perform opening and closing procedures and first aid officer duties when required.
  • Coach, develop and motivate the operations team to achieve agreed targets.
  • You’ll liaise with the HOD (‘Head of Dept’) team to assess, monitor and improve the customer experience.

All about you:

  • You have 2+ years of relevant operations leadership experience, a neat-freak reputation, your first aid, flexibility to work a non-traditional schedule and can readily obtain a Pool Lifeguard certificate and clear Working with Children Check (if required).
  • You have aligned experience. You love to create a seamless experience for people as much as you love to guarantee a super safe and glistening clean environment for all. You know what it’s like to work with a high profile consumer brand and the value of a well-oiled machine. You may also have some hospitality sector experience. A+ for you.
  • You are people-focused. You’re warm, honest and genuine. You get a kick out of creating beautifully fresh and spotless spaces which make people go wow! You’re cool under pressure. Delivering and teaching others operations makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside.
