- Project Management: Lead training initiatives by coordinating events and collaborating with AIO partners, the Australian Research Data Commons (ARDC), and industry stakeholders.
- Training Leadership: Oversee the development and continual improvement of training materials and resources for researchers across diverse disciplines.
- Program Development: Design and implement training programs, including workshops on ethics, data analysis, and sharing, ensuring their effectiveness through evaluation and feedback.
- Collaboration and Networking: Build partnerships with universities, government, industry, and civil society to advance the use of social data and enhance training impact.
- Technical Expertise and Innovation: Provide Python and R programming support, conduct industry audits, and ensure training aligns with the latest data science and IT developments.
To be successful, you’ll have:
- Qualifications and Expertise: Postgraduate qualifications or extensive experience in Data Science, IT, or Humanities and Social Sciences, with proficiency in Python and R.
- Project and Training Management: Proven ability to plan, deliver, and evaluate training programs and manage projects in complex environments.
- Collaboration and Innovation: Experience working collaboratively to develop and implement new frameworks and practices in diverse settings.
- Technical and Organisational Skills: Strong IT systems knowledge, organisational abilities, and experience creating engaging training materials for varied audiences.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
