Brad.Griffiths@dffh.vic.gov.au or 03 0830 9804Position DetailsTHE ROLEThe Manager, Policy is responsible for initiating, coordinating and delivering strategic projects relating to the work of the Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) portfolio managed by Disability Homes Victoria. This position will lead the team and engage with internal and external stakeholders to support the development of projects that seek to ensure that the Department’s SDA offering best meets the needs and preferences of eligible NDIS participants.ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
- Strategically design and develop projects that meet the delivery of departmental and government objectives that impact significant localised service delivery and meet statewide departmental and government objectives and community expectations.
- Maintain an understanding of issues impacting SDA residents and lead critical projects that enhance service delivery, budget effectiveness, efficiency and improved resident outcomes.
- Forge strong connections across the department and with external stakeholders to facilitate a partnership approach.
