Job description: Embark on an exciting journey as a Landscape Technician – Infrastructure – OpenRoads & Microstation, at a modern design studio in Melbourne with a reputation for expert work in the Landscape Design and Urban Planning space. This initial 12 month fixed term contract role will role provide you with the opportunity to contribute to the design and documentation of infrastructure-related open spaces using cutting-edge software like OpenRoads and Microstation.Highlights of this role:
- Work alongside a talented team of Landscape Architects, Design Professionals, and key stakeholders on large-scale infrastructure projects
- Utilize your expertise in OpenRoads and Microstation to create visually stunning and functional designs
- Contribute to the growth and success of a dynamic, forward-thinking design studio
Preferred Requirements:
- Proficient in the use of OpenRoads and Microstation software for design and documentation
- Experience in working on larger-scale infrastructure projects, preferably in the Landscape or Civil Drafting and Design field
- Strong understanding of design principles and the ability to translate concepts into detailed technical drawings
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with project teams and external stakeholders
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Landscape Design, Civil Drafting or Engineering, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience in the use of CAD software and 3D modeling tools
- A passion for the built environment and a desire to contribute to the development of sustainable infrastructure
