Job description: Iteration Manager / Project ManagerMelbourne CBD$900 – $1000 a day inclusive12 Month ContractTalenza are working with a client undergoing a significant transformation, part of this transformation includes delivering a variety digital solutions. We are seeking a Hybrid Iteration Manager / Project Manager to join their team and oversee the successful delivery of a key projects, combining Agile iteration management with traditional project management practices.YouYou will be an experienced Iteration Manager and Project Manager with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and end-to-end project delivery. You will have a demonstrated ability to manage project scheduling, team coordination, and cross-functional dependencies. This is a 12 – month contract, so we are looking for candidates who can quickly take ownership and drive the streams forward. The role will work as a traditional Project Manager for the next 6 months across 3 streams of work before moving into Iteration Manager role with agile delivery managing 1 stream.Key Responsibilities:Agile Iteration Management: Plan and facilitate iteration ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.), ensuring the team is aligned and focused on achieving sprint goals.Project Delivery Management: Oversee the project’s schedule, managing key dependencies, timelines, and milestones to ensure successful delivery within scope, time, and budget.Team Management: Manage a team of 6 Business Analysts, providing leadership, support, and guidance to ensure high performance and effective delivery of project outcomes.Risk and Issue Management: Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing strategies to keep the project on track.Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication and alignment across all levels of the organisation.Agile Coaching: Support the team in continuously improving Agile practices, fostering a culture of collaboration, and ensuring the effective adoption of Agile principles.Dependency Management: Proactively manage and track delivery dependencies between teams and external partners, ensuring smooth coordination and removing any blockers to progress.This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled hybrid professional to lead a high-impact project and contribute to the ongoing transformation of the organisation’s delivery capabilities.Benefits
