Job description: Overview:Full-time, Continuing positionSalary $90,280 – $97,724 + 17% Superannuation and Flexible Working ArrangementsBased at the Melbourne CBD campus, and hybrid ways of workingAbout YouYour primary responsibility is to assist with coordinating major events and initiatives. You will be responsible for overseeing the preplanning of initiatives and events, liaising with stakeholders, administrative tasks, operation and logistics for events that are both physically hosted on campus. You will also be involved in presenting to groups of people interested in studying at RMIT and be comfortable speaking to large audiences.To be successful in this position, you’ll have:Experience in successfully managing a project from conception to implementation.Experience in event and workshop preparation and coordination.High-level computer skills with good understanding of the Microsoft suite of software, particularly Excel. Proficiency in event management software preferred.Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy and ability to coordinate project deliverables.Experience with stakeholder engagement including staff at a more senior level.Please Note: Appointment to this position is subject to passing a Working with Children and National Police Check.About the PortfolioThe International and Engagement (I&E) Portfolio drives RMIT’s international strategy and agenda including international partnerships and business development activities.
