EM currently has branches in four states across Australia with a head office in Port Melbourne Victoria.An opportunity has presented for a recruit to fill an electronic instrument trades worker role specialising in Industrial Textile Machinery. The role is required in operations across Australia in Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, and Sydney. This challenging role is diverse with various responsibilities including:· The service, repair and maintenance of industrial textile machinery such as industrial sewing machines, welders, and cutters, applying knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic principles· Build-up and modifying of brand-new machines· Delivery and installation of machinery and client operation training· Post assembly or re-assembly testing of operation and making any necessary adjustments· Maintaining professional communications with suppliers and customers to advise on correct operating procedures to ensure safe manufacturing standards· Ongoing support of products on commission and maintaining production lines and control systemsEM maintains a family business culture and values customer focused, professionally minded staff who actively engage with the team to drive the business forward.Our business is evolving, and we aim to have the successful candidate become a key component of our future success. The successful candidate will receive on going support and training from experienced team mates.Key & Desirable CriteriaPrevious experience in technical roles is required in the industrial sewing machine trade
Certification in a trade associated with industrial textile machinery or 5+ years’ experience in the industry on a technical level

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and telephone manner. This is a key criteria for us.
To be organised and process driven.
Experience with Microsoft office and general computer navigation skills.
Ability to work within a team and autonomously.

A self-motivated person eager for the challenges of learning a new industry and product.
International applicants must have experience in technical roles within the textile industry.
Annual Salary of $73,150Our Company offers product and industry diversity coupled with a great team and will deliver professional satisfaction to the successful candidate.
Expected salary: $60001 – 80000 per year
