Job description: This role is a key member of the corporate finance team working with the SLT team. Your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Preparing annual and half-year statutory accounts and other compliance-related documents.
- Monthly management and operational reporting for the group.
- Consolidation of group results, cashflow reporting, variance analysis and oversight of treasury.
- System enhancement and strengthening of the group’s data analytics capabilities.
- Liaising with external auditors for preparation of statutory accounts and tax compliance
- Manage, lead and develop the financial accounting team.
- Other ad hoc project related work.
Central LocationWorking with the executive leaders across the groupTo be successful in this role, you will be CA / CPA qualified and have a minimum of ten years within chartered (Big 4 or Mid-tier) and/ or worked with or within an ASX company. Having held a senior leadership role in finance, you will be driven by system improvements and best practice. You will have a meticulous attention to detail and be technically astute across IFRS, statutory reporting and managing external audits. An ability to work autonomously and a deadline driven approach, you will be self-motivated and work well in a close-knit team environment. This role requires someone with a broad technical skillset that is happy to roll up their sleeves and be solutions focused but also operate at a high level. Strong communications, both verbal and written will also be essential for your success in this exciting role.Our client has a strong presence and brand name across international borders and also here locally.
