About the role:
- As the Grid Connection Manager, you will be responsible for leading the grid connections process. You will manage the grid connection projects, from initial feasibility studies through to post R2 testing. Your role will play a vital role in ensuring all projects align with AEMO and NSP compliance standards.
About You
- Strong communicator and ability to build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders including AEMO, NSPs and OEM
- Ability to collaborate efficiently with internal teams, aligning technical specifications with project goals and outcomes
- Ability to work closely with Grid Connection Engineers, Design Engineers, Electrical Engineers and project teams to ensure the project adheres to budgets and timeframes as well as ensuring the overall effective execution of projects
- Strong technical skills and experience managing grid connection procedures
- 8 years experience in renewable energy, with proven previous experience as a Grid Connection Manager
- Experience in connecting projects to the NEM through AEMO in solar and BESS projects
- Excellent understanding of the NER regulatory framework
