Join a team that enjoys a positive work environment, flexible arrangements, state-of-the-art training, and a range of perks and benefits.We are seeking a motivated Graduate Employment and Industrial Relations Advisor to join the EIR team in their East Melbourne (3002) office. In this role, you will provide support to members on employment legislation and industry regulations. While some aspects of the role may involve legal and regulatory matters, you won’t be a legal practitioner and as such, formal legal experience is not required.Responsibilities:
- Offer advice on employment and industrial relations matters, such as long service leave and unfair dismissal claims.
- Assist members in managing risks, adopting best practices, and navigating the employment lifecycle from onboarding to termination or redundancy.
- Help draft, negotiate, and lodge enterprise agreements.
- Advise and represent members in industrial disputes.
- Create and maintain guides, templates, and educational materials.
- Provide exceptional service via phone, email, and occasionally face-to-face.

- Salary: $70,000 – $75,000 + super (depending on experience)
- Monday – Friday, regular office hours

What We’re Looking For:
- Degree in Industrial Relations, Human Resources, Law, or a related field preferred.
- Some experience in employment and industrial relations, or a related field, is beneficial but not necessary to apply.
- Understanding of employment laws, including the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth); knowledge of building and construction industry regulations is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills with a proactive and collaborative approach.
