Lancemore Crossley St Hotel is located at the top-end of Little Bourke St and is a one-of-a-kind theatre-inspired, design-lead Hotel in the heart of the Theatre District.The Hotel is ideally located to capture guests from the rebounding corporate precinct which surrounds us, whilst also maintaining its reputation as a place to stay when experiencing the arts, entertainment and restaurant culture that Melbourne is famous for.The Hotel comprises of 112 rooms that have been inspired by our surrounds, a stunning rooftop terrace and an inviting lobby bar.We are looking for an experienced General Manager with strong commercial acumen who likes to dream big and will lead from the front in a hands on manner to leverage the ongoing success of this amazing property and team.You will be experienced in revenue management, driving top line sales and will be able to demonstrate proven results in delivering strong financial performance, guest satisfaction and employee engagement.Just as importantly you can adapt to our culture and embrace our values.ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Drive exceptional financial results through exemplary cost control and revenue management by developing and executing commercial plans in conjunction with the hotel leadership team
  • Implement delivery service strategies and initiatives with the aim of exceeding guest experience expectations
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team with strong leadership skills for high engagement and performance across all metrics
  • Strong administration and reporting skills for presenting monthly analytics on business performance with attention to detail
  • Has a can-do attitude with a strong focus on quality and output
  • Work with key talent to develop creative, identify opportunities for innovative food and beverage and accommodation concepts and offerings
  • Strong financial acumen is required
  • Manage sales processes and teams to superior results
  • Have proven results in driving top line revenue in a competitive market
  • Build strong relationships with all stakeholders to maintain property requirements and standards
  • Drive exceptional customer satisfaction in a boutique luxury setting
  • Engage in strategies focusing on exceptional employee leadership and retention
  • Build your team leaders through a combination of hands-on management, coaching and mentoring to set our signature standard of authentic, boutique hospitality – “the Lancemore way”.
