About the RoleAs the Food and Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient running of the division in line with Hyatt international’s corporate strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations. Reporting to the Director of Culinary and F&B Operations, you will supervise and manage the day to day operations as well as supporting the team to achieve our purpose.Some of the responsibilities include

  • Drive our guest’s Food & Beverage experience in line with Park Hyatt brand standards.
  • Perform service recovery in a timely and effective manner.
  • Actively lead, coach and mentor all members of the F&B team to ensure they are equipped to do their job while also developing them for the future.
  • Demonstrate Hyatt’s purpose of caring for people to be their best at all times while coaching outlet managers in the F&B operation to embody Hyatt’s values.
  • Work with outlet managers and assistant managers to ensure manning levels are managed in line with occupancy, ensuring that payroll costs are managed efficiently.
  • Actively drive and maximize revenue in conjunction with Sales & Marketing and the Events team.
  • Effectively plan & forecast budgets and monitor costs in line with flow through.

Qualifications:

  • Previous Food & Beverage managerial experience in a luxury hotel is essential
  • Exceptional leadership skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills used to build effective relationships with all stakeholders
  • Ability to drive the F&B operation ensuring that key goals are achieved with regard to financials, guest and colleague metrics
  • Strong attention to detail and the desire to produce high quality operational and administrative outcomes
  • Well-developed administrative and computer skills
