This role combines sales, technical expertise, and client engagement within a fisheries monitoring, conservation, and surveillance environment. Responsibilities include managing client relationships, responding to enquiries, coordinating sales and marketing efforts, and providing first-level technical support when required. The position involves both domestic and international travel.The ideal candidate will have a background in engineering, business, marine science, GIS, or a related field, with strong communication skills and a proactive, goal-oriented approach. Training will be provided at the company’s Melbourne office and potentially at international locations.Key Responsibilities
- Develop and expand the fisheries market in Australia and the South Pacific region.
- Respond to enquiries from existing and potential clients.
- Drive sales and marketing initiatives, including attending exhibitions, conferences, and workshops.
- Liaise with regional fisheries management organisations, local resellers, distributors, and certified installers.
- Provide first-level technical support when necessary.
- Undergo training on company products and services, with potential international training opportunities.
- Travel domestically and internationally as required to support business development and client engagement.
- Contribute to fisheries monitoring, conservation, management, and surveillance initiatives.
