  • Design & Develop Electronic Systems: Creating and testing electronic systems is fundamental to an engineering graduate’s role, particularly in a defence context where precision and reliability are key.
  • Utilise Design & Simulation Tools: Using design and simulation tools like CAD is essential for electronics engineers, as these tools help in creating accurate and reliable designs for complex defence systems.
  • Translate Designs to Manufacturing: In defence, it’s important to ensure that designs can be efficiently manufactured while meeting stringent requirements.
  • Perform Integration & Testing: Integration of electronics into larger defence systems and conducting tests for verification ensures compliance with operational standards, a critical part of ensuring the systems perform as required in defence applications.
  • Adhere to Quality Standards: Defence projects are highly regulated, and adherence to strict quality standards and compliance with safety and regulatory requirements is a crucial aspect of this role.
