  • Community and Economic Development
  • Libraries, Arts and Culture
  • Life Stages

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, inspire, and manage Community Wellbeing teams to achieve Council’s strategic objectives.
  • Plan and oversee the delivery of high-quality community services aligned with Council priorities and community needs.
  • Ensure the cost-effective and efficient management of community services, maintaining a strong customer focus and compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and risks, including securing and acquitting relevant grants and subsidies.
  • Provide expert advice to the CEO, Directors, Councillors, and staff on community wellbeing matters.
  • Ensure meaningful community engagement informs service delivery, projects, and strategic decisions.

About youThe ideal candidate is an established senior leader with strategic and contemporary service delivery expertise and a track record in nurturing high performing teams. You will have experience leading large complex portfolios, ideally within the broader public or community sectors.You will share Council’s passion for highest standards of customer service, continuous improvement and value for money and will be renowned for working collaboratively with your colleagues to achieve impressive community outcomes.
