Work as a DevOps Test Engineer with a renowned Consulting firm on one of their established Government sector projects.Responsibilities include:
- This role involves designing, implementing, and executing automated test suites, integrating them seamlessly into CI/CD processes.
- Collaborating closely with development and operations teams to identify and address quality issues early in the software development lifecycle.
Skills required include:
- Proficiency in test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or Cypress to develop and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices, including CI/CD, and infrastructure as code, to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in building and maintaining test environments and infrastructure using configuration management tools like Ansible t, ensuring consistency and repeatability across testing environments and deployments.
- Proficient in scripting languages such as PowerShell, or Bash to automate testing tasks, manipulate test data, and perform environment setup and teardown as part of automated test execution.
- Preferred – Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter or Gatling to conduct load testing, stress testing, and scalability testing of software applications.
